Professional practice at the Vilnius University Museum
VUM trainees are active members of the museum team, involved in generating ideas, carrying out activities, implementing individual projects, contributing to different types of museum activities and projects.
The main aim of the internship is to combine theoretical knowledge with practical tasks.
What does a VU trainee do?
- Familiarises himself/herself with the functions and activities of the VU Museum;
- Works with historical sources and science communication tools to create and present the content of the museum;
- Establishes new social contacts with museum staff, partners and visitors.
